Full Day Sessions - Check-in starts at 8:00AM. Competition starts shortly after 9:00AM. Competition to wrap up by 4PM (weather permitting)
»Format: Divisions will consist of pools of 4 or 5 teams played in round robin fashion. Top 2 teams from each pool advance to a single elimination playoff. Top 3 finishers in each division get FREE BID to National Championships in Milwaukee, WI (July 28/29) plus entry into drawing for 2 travel stipends valued at $500 each. JUST IN: 1st place team in Girls 18U and 16U get an invite (if they choose to accept) to the 2012 college sand volleyball recruitment camp in Florida (July 28th).
New for 2012: A consolation/silver playoff bracket will be played for teams not finishing in the top 2 in their pool.
»Fees: $64/team with pre-payment via credit card required when registering. Only one member of the team needs to submit a registration and payment for the entire team.
»USAV Membership Required: This event is sanctioned by USA Volleyball. You will be able to sign-up as part of the registration process ($15 for the summer or $5 for a single event)

»The results for the 2011 inaugural Carolina Open are in! Thanks to the 88 teams across 4 girls divisions and 2 boys divisions for helping make this event a success despite some rain late in the afternoon. Congratulations to the top 4 teams in each division listed in the results table to the right who have won free entry into the national tour championships in Chicago on July 23, 2011.
