SITE:  Baileywick Rd. Park, located at 9501 Baileywick Rd. in Raleigh, NC

Baileywick Park

DIRECTIONS for Baileywick Park:

From I-540 (The Outer Loop):

From the West (I-40, RDU, etc): Take the Creedmoor Rd exit (Exit #9 - Hwy 50) and head south. Turn left at the second light (which is only a couple of hundred yards from I-540) onto Baileywick Rd. The park will be about a mile, on the right.

From the East (Capital Blvd): Take the Six Forks Rd exit (Exit #11) and head south. Take a right at the first light onto Lead Mine Rd. Next, take a right at the stoplight onto Baileywick. The park will be about a mile, on the left.

From I-440 (The Raleigh Beltline), There are 2 choices:

Glenwood Ave - Take the Glenwood Ave exit (Hwy 70) heading west (towards Crabtree Valley Mall). Take a right on Creedmoor Rd (Hwy 50) and then follow that to Baileywick which will be about 5 miles. Take a right on Baileywick and the park will be about a mile, on the right (If you get to 540, you’ve just passed Baileywick Rd. Turn around.)

Six Forks Rd - Take the Six Forks Rd exit, heading north (towards North Hills). Go about 5 miles and then take a left on Strickland Rd. Take a right on Harvest Oaks, which will turn into Baileywick Rd. Go about a mile and the park will be on your left. (If you get to 540, you missed Strickland. Turn around.)

PARKING:

Parking is available in several different locations:

If you park at the school: Please be sure that you park in the marked spaces and DO NOT park in the fire lanes.

If you park by the field: Please make sure that your car is not restricting access to the other people parking there. If worse comes to worse, please use the parking lot at the park.

Last but not least, PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON BOTH SIDES OF THE STREET.

FOOD:

There are grocery stores and lots of fast food restaurants on both Six Forks and Creedmoor Rd. When you get to one or the other of these main roads, just head towards Raleigh and you’ll find fast food or a grocery store in no time.
